Rosa Filmes - About us

Founded in 1990, Rosa Filmes has established itself as one of the most innovative and dynamic Portuguese Independent Production Companies.

Its international debut has taken place in 1995, in Locarno, with the feature film "Corte de Cabelo / Haircut" and, since then, has completed eleven more features, all premiered in competition in major European Film Festivals and released both nationally and internationally.

From 1990 to 1995, Rosa Filmes has also produced shorts and documentaries. Currently, Rosa Filmes has two new feature films to release, two features in post-production, one in pre-production and three new projects in development.

Rosa Filmes is focused on full-length feature films from emerging young Directors, and it is its aim to proceed a line of production both meticulous and highly strong willed.
